30 Day Video Challenge Complete
[leadplayer_vid id=”53613DCD0A509″] (Today’s video is my Day 30 video in my 30 Day Video Challenge)
Ahhhh Yeah… I’ve completed my 30 Day Video Challenge! I’ve released a new video every day in April 2014. If you’d like to see all the videos I created, most of them are posted to this blog (with the exception of one which was about a “time-limited offer” so it didn’t make sense to post it to the blog).
I’ve also set up a YouTube Playlist with all 30 videos so that’s probably an even easier way to check out all the video:
My big takeaways from the 30 Day Video Challenge are:
SHOOT OUTDOORS – Unless you’re using professional studio lighting (which I just purchased so I can do more indoor shooting), you’ll get much better quality lighting in your video if you’re able to shoot outdoors.
You’ll want to shoot with the sun behind the camera (shining on YOU). Don’t try to shoot with the sun behind you (shining into the camera).
The downside to shooting outdoors (besides just working around the weather) is that it can be NOISY. Esspecially if it’s windy. So if you’re shooting outdoors you’ll want to use an external microphone.
USE BATCH PROCESSING – By recording multiple videos at one time (one after another) I was able to record a weeks worth of videos in a single day. Saving the hassle of setting up and tearing down my equipment every day and allowing me to more efficiently manage my time so I could still give attention to the other things in my business that needed it.
IF YOU WANT TO GET BETTER AT SOMETHING – DO IT 30 TIMES IN 30 DAYS – I don’t care if you want to get better at Video Creation, Blogging or even something in your personal life like Eating Healthily or Creating Poems About Actor Seth Rogen…
If you do it 30 times in the same month YOU WILL SEE IMPROVEMENT.
Oh Seth Rogen, you are so funny.
I love your movies like a bee loves honey.
Even though your movie characters are mostly all the same,
The simple fact that you have a HILARIOUS laugh makes your characters not lame.
