How I’m Using Hybrid-Connect To Boost Opt-Ins

I’ve been using a new tool (a WordPress plugin called Hybrid Connect) for the last couple of weeks to boost my opt-in rate for my blog.

Some of my blog visitors have noticed the cool new forms (that display either an opt-in form or a Facebook connect button depending on if someone is on Facebook or not) and have asked me how I’m creating them…

…so I thought I’d do a quick video showing you Hybrid-Connect in action:

So far in the time I’ve been using Hybrid-Connect my results have been great (although it’s only been a couple of weeks)

You can check out Hybrid-Connect for yourself here.

Or, if you’d rather check it out without going through my affiliate link you can do that here.

Let me know what you think of the new opt-in forms and what you think of the idea of using Facebook connect for Facebook users as opposed to a standard opt-in form…

  1. I actually have a couple of other plugins that do something similar (although they aren’t able to autodetect if someone is a Facebook user or not like this one can).

But, from what I can see in the demo on the salespage the drag drop form builder is what really makes this thing awesome.

I’m gonna get a copy of this thing. If I have any questions can I ask you?

    • You’re right Ken, the drag-n-drop builder is great… It allows you to create KILLER looking forms with literally ZERO design talent.

You can definitely ask me questions if you have them, although, if it’s a question about using the software you’ll probably be better off contacting the guy who created the software (Shane Melaugh). I’m a user of the software, but not yet an expert on it so Shane is probably the best person to contact if it’s a tech question.

I did contact Shane with a support question when I first got the software and he provided quick and outstanding support.

  2. It looks like Hybrid-Connect is a good supplement to other squeeze-page plugins like Instabuilder. In other words, it does not do full squeeze pages or sales pages, correct? But it looks like it has great ability to create custom optin forms.

    • Correct, Hybrid-Connect JUST does opt-in forms (facebook connect forms and traditional opt-in forms) and makes them drag and drop simple plus it will automatically determine is someone is logged into Facebook and if so display the Facebook Connect button, if not just display a traditional opt in form. And if they are already on your list it will display a 3rd button to just give them access to whatever you’re offering for the opt in.

However, it DOES NOT create squeeze pages, sales letters, etc.

By the way, Instabuilder does have the option of doing traditional opt in plus Facebook Connect (it displays both options instead of automatically determining if someone is logged into Facebook or not). So if you don’t already have something to build squeeze and sales pages I would recommend Instabuilder first since it does more, then adding in Hybrid Connect in the future if you’re looking for something additional.
